About Us

Finding Inspiration at Every Turn

At St. Andrew Nature Preschool your child will enjoy a high-quality early learning curriculum in a safe and natural environment.  We plant the seeds for life-long learning by building a supportive community following the example of Jesus, where children know they are loved and feel safe to explore, take appropriate risks, problem solve, cooperate with and show love for others.

We believe that God loves everyone and invites us to do the same. In response, our curriculum explores embracing differences and acting against bias. We facilitate children's confident sense of identity without needing to feel superior to others, an ease with human diversity, a sense of fairness & justice, and the ability to stand up for themselves or others.

Our History

St. Andrew Preschool was founded in 1984 by professionals seeking to establish a preschool of excellence. From the beginning we have been a child-centered school, valuing children’s opinions, ideas, and unique learning styles. In 2012 we became a Nature Explore Certified Classroom, furthering our goal of encouraging students to be inquisitive, thoughtful problem solvers by providing predictable spaces, ample and consistent time outdoors, open-ended materials, and caring, observant adults who support creative play and learning.

Our preschool is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian organization welcoming
and celebrating students and families of all faiths and backgrounds. We are committed
to anti-bias work by recognizing, celebrating, and honoring the differences in all
people.

Our son LOVES St. Andrew! The teachers are great, the facility is huge, and it's the perfect blend of inside learning and outside learning. - Jacob

Our experience at St. Andrew Preschool has been wonderful! The staff is very nurturing and they truly care about each child and their personal development. We are so grateful for all of the grace they show and how hard they work to help our children learn and grow. Thank you, St. Andrew’s staff! - Mary

We were so fortunate to find such an affordable preschool with SOOOOO much space. My son and every child I see there is so happy to be back at St. Andrew. - Cecily

St. Andrew Nature Preschool is a wonderful fit for our family! We love how the kiddos get to be outside for a large portion of the day. The small class size provides a great student-teacher ratio. The staff is wonderful and child focused. My son looks forward everyday to playing with his friends. Thank you, St. Andrew Preschool, for all you do. - Craig

We love having our son attend St. Andrew Nature Preschool. He gets to socialize with other kids his age, have educational lessons based on experience and play, and be outdoors every day enjoying the interactive playgrounds. The staff is so wonderful, communicative, and, during these uncertain pandemic times, they have been very cautious and able to flex the kids’ learning so they don't skip a beat. This part time preschool program has been exactly what our son needed to get him ready for kindergarten in the fall. - Cassandra

We love St. Andrew Nature Preschool! The teachers are so patient and kind, and the outdoor space is amazing! We wish we would have found it sooner for our older kids! - Haidee
